The customer services at this company are pretty great. Almost anyone I've talked to were generous with information and very understanding.
However, as they don't offer any of their good deals in areas other than Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, it has become a bit too expensive for the quality of their product. We are very disappointed by their constant disconnection, and slow speed. We don't use landline, so we are moving onto Orcon for something worth paying for. |

Upon signing up I got 10GB and IP phone for $40 a month. They sent out a guy who set everything up and made sure it all worked fine with my router etc. Very impressed.
...then the speed. Or lack of. Speed tests average 100kbps and ONCE I managed to get 140kbps that was it.
Also Woosh does not work with online games. Xbox 360 wont work properly through it. Downloads are slow.
Opening a normal webpage is fast enough but open something with lots of flash or pictures.... you will have time to go make a cup of tea!

Trying Woosh for a couple of months as we are house hopping. Yes its damn slow but this was made clear to me beofre I signed the contract. Haven't needed any support thus far, seems pretty reliable. |

Do not go with woosh because of the cheap pricing, pay a few extra dollars and get Internet that actually works, I have been with several providers over the years and this is by far the slowest yet, it wasn't too bad for the first couple weeks. |

Well as i see above everyones complaing about speed well i dun a speed test on my and it reaches 1.2mbps. but thats not problem. my problem is when i play online fps games it has issues not that i lag or anything but i start jumping and looks like im lagging but not dont know what it could be but any 1 able to help me out?

The brand of the internet svcriee does not really matter, The internet is the same protocal for every isp I would recommend cable if your just gameing.. If your downloading movies 2 then dsl.. Cuzz most dsl companys dont block torrents. Basically, look around for the best deals.. i would say nothing lower then 4mbs down and 512 up,, that is ideal for gamin. Also if u want wireless , every isp has a wireless package.. or u could buy a wireless router form bestbuy , or any local computer store Try Roadrunner or comcast or verizon, doesnt really matter thou, what u need to do .. is see how much all there packages are for the speed ! cheapest with the best speed is always the best |

We stuck with Woosh for 5 years for cost reasons but it has now gotten to the point where we may as well not have broadband if we stick with them. Connection probably dropped at least once a month over that time and culminated in a lost connection for 2 weeks straight. Were unable to get any information from Woosh about what was happening. When we rang to query we got sarcastic smart a*se responses from their operators. I would not recommend this service to anyone. It might be cheap, but it's still a rip off! |
