Wow. Very disappointing. Always disconnecting, have to allow 1/2 an hour to connect, if it works. Many times I have just given up. Support people have sent us 2 replacement routers -no change. It just does not work well at all. Support people told me "yeah we know its crap". They can't make it any better. I don't know why they cant fix it! Unfortunately I signed on for 2 years of crap fibre, and two years of my family complaining. And installers carved a big hole in the wall, unbelievable! Its cheap - its crap - its not worth it. |

Something isn't right with their speed. I went on a VDSL account with them at a good price, big mistake. Their call centre was helpful, polite - but I just knew that the issue was down to them. Had something previously with Orcon which resulted in a cancellation as well. Moved to BigPipe, no speed issues whatsoever on the same line and same VDSL set-up. |

We have been "Friends Gold" TrustPower customers for over 15 years and changed ISP to their Ultra-Fast Fibre last year. Unfortunately evening download speeds have become so slow that speed tests regularly show single digit results and buffering is more common now than with our previous ADSL connection. Call centre staff are pleasant but unhelpful in this matter and emails have gone unanswered. Saddest part is TrustPower/TECT are good corporate citizens and we wish to support them however as they currently seem incapable and/or disinterested in providing the standard of service paid for we are now having to look elsewhere. |

• Though the landline was activated almost immediately, it took Trustpower close to TWO months to activate my broadband – this in spite of me phoning them multiple times over that extended Internetless period. Completely unacceptable.
• After my broadband was activated, the landline stopped working. I couldn't be bothered contacting them again due to their support's apparent inability to resolve seemingly simple issues.
• Their broadband speed is an absolute joke. I usually average somewhere around the 4.5Mbps download/0.6Mbps upload range – compare this to the national ADSL2+ average of 24Mbps/1Mbps and it is immediately apparent how atrocious their broadband service is. Multiple streams/downloads are totally impractical. I never experienced any speed issues with my previous ISP (Vodafone), so it's definitely not a problem at my end.
I can't emphasise this enough: don't be fooled by their low prices, AVOID TRUSTPOWER AT ALL COSTS!!! |

Worst company to deal with ever! Wish I could get out of my contract.
1) one month after signing off my power got cut off for a Friday night. Seems there were change over difficulties. Waited until 9pm for the technician who told me I could have turned it back on myself and TP are the only company who won't tell customers this.
2) three different TP staff told me they would waive the reconnection fee. Well whip de flipping doodle, I didn't ask to be disconnected...
3) Fibre went down. Spent an hour on the phone with TP person who in the end told me she would send a new router as it must have been that. New router tutend up, and after an hour on the phone with Lachlan we discovered it was actually the LAN port on the ONT.
4) I'm still waiting to hear if TP will charge me $150 for the unbroken router I sent back
5) Just moved house and there is no fibre installed yet. It seems these clowns still want to charge me every month for it anyway even though I have no internet.
LET ME OUT. At what point is your service and practices so bad that I wouldn't have to pay your cancelation fee. Don't choose Trustpower! |

But technically they dont have anything to provide or maybe their infrastructure sucks. Stay away from them at any cost. Do't be decieved by their promotions, like free TV and stuff. You will end up in psychiatric hospital gazing at that the very same TV you got in their promotion while nothing is loading and everything is buffering. |

Their fibre 200 is nowhere near as fast as sparks fibre 100. Cannot even play games or watch youtube without my phone or pc disconnecting from the wifi. When playing games my ping is never stable and most of the time it's over 200, and that's on Oceania servers. Honestly the worst service providers. Overall very happy with company as well get cheap power as well, connection speeds of around 96 down and 26 up and extremely rare for dropouts, as well as if using online chat very fast problem solving, not sure why Trustpower is rated so low my friend is also with Trustpower UFB/power and he to has no issues |
