Just moved into an apartment and got mucked around by the big providers. Long story short lets just say it took Snap 3 days to get me connected to the internet. Signed up with Vodafone and I have given up waiting for over 3 weeks.
Everytime I called for assistance there were no wait time unlike the other providers. Thanks Snap and Ricky :)
Go with these guys!

I'd like to see better mcteirs for success. "Broadband is installed in XX% of homes" is essentially a useless measure that speaks nothing to the ability of public and private services to make it productive, of a user's ability to do something useful with it.The oft cited 90% South Korean broadband penetration sounds good, but municipal governments, small businesses, and consumers have almost no presence outside games and chat.The point is that deploying broadband is a huge waste of money if there aren't services that make use of it. |

Overall Snap have been pretty helpful and I have only had three or four instances where my internet stopped working for some reason outside my control.
I think they made a poor decision to not properly communicate a price change with their existing customers. Even their accounting staff would be able to tell how many and which of their customers were still paying too much but they failed to follow them up.
They did credit me two months worth of $9 and that's all they could do. |

Worst customer service ever!!! When you were on the phone with them, I got them impression they couldn't be bothered with any of my calls. No follow-up with any of my inquiries even after they said they would ring back! They need to send all their staff on a customer service course! ripped off! I strongly recommend you do not do business with this company. Definitely better to stick with the bigger companies such as Telecom! |

Will not allow me to pay by internet banking - has to be credit card. Would not put my account on hold for 4 weeks while I relocated, it would have had to been cancelled costing me $499. Too mean to send a technician to fix our connection problems. Instead I had to phone them every night so they could tell me it still wasn't working and had 2 new modems sent. 11 days later they sent a technician to fix the problem on the street, not inside my house which they insisted was the problem and I'd need to pay. Gave me a "free" landline for 3 months to compensate for 11 days without internet, one email was not received in time so a family member missed out on a job. Plus we bought heaps of costly phone data but they just don't care! Turns out I still have that landline but pay no more for it now the 3 months is up?? Gave 3 weeks notice of recent move - what a surprise - No internet connected. Have to wait another week. Yet again I will need to spend a fortune on data for phones which they will not compensate me for. I must say they are very quick to send their invoice to me for payment in advance though.
Once my plan is up I will never deal with SNAP! again, nor recommend them to anyone.
Just hate dealing with this company. |
